Description
The Pozzato sand and gravel treatment plant installed in Austria has been realised to process 100 tph of 0 – 150 mm alluvial aggregates, passing through the control grid fitted at the top of the feeding hopper.
A conveyor belt feeds a vibrating dry screen in order to split the particles > 32 mm, sent to the crushing unit, from the fines 0 – 32 mm, sent to the final selection.
The vibrating rinsing screen produces the three typical fractions needed in the concrete batching plants:
- 4 – 8 mm
- 8 – 16 mm
- 16 – 32 mm
The slurry (made of water and solids < 4 mm), passing through the bottom deck of the above mentioned screen, is sent into a bucket wheel in order to recover the clean sand 0 – 4 mm and to eliminate the silt and the floating particles (pieces of wood) by the overflow.
