Description
The Pozzato aggregates processing plant installed in Wolfsberg has been realised to treat 100 tph of 0 – 150 mm alluvial sand and gravel, already handled into a primary jaw crusher.
A conveyor belt feeds the grizzly screen fitted straight at the top of the log washer, in order to split the fraction 0 – 80 mm from the 80 – 150 mm that is sent to the secondary crushing unit.
The particles < 80 mm directly fall into the log washer in order to melt the clay included in the raw material. The vibrating rinsing screen produces the three typical fractions needed in the concrete batching plants:
- 4 – 8 mm
- 8 – 16 mm
- 16 – 32 mm
The slurry (made of water and solids < 4 mm), passing through the bottom deck of the above mentioned screen, is sent into a bucket wheel in order to recover the clean sand 0 – 4 mm.
