The Pozzato PZ MG impact crushers have been designed to treat the aggregates 30 – 150 mm and to produce 0 – 50 mm. This product normally is sent to the final dry or washing screening.
Like the whole range of Pozzato impact crushers, the PZ MGs are well known for the ease way of maintenance and are equipped with four doors sideways openable. Any special tool is required to have access into the crushing chamber when the casting are worn.
In order to hold the same sieve analysis of the product longer than possible, the PZ MG impact crushers are equipped with a special harmours adjusting system. It allows even to change the kind of the product when it is needed, increasing or decreasing the distance between the hammers and the harmours.
The hammers and the harmours are made of Chrome-Molibdenum steel alloy that today guarantees the best wear resistance and then long lasting time. Just the rotor protections are made in Manganese.
Normally the PZ MG impact crushers are equipped with three hammers in order to obtain the higher percentage of sand than possible (about 40%) but they can be supplied even with a special rotor fitted with four hammers in order to reduce the fines and increase the aggregates.
This last version often follows a primary jaw crusher to treat hard and abrasive rocks, like the basalt, in order to produce the ideal and polyhedral fractions to feed the asphalt plant.
