Description
The Pozzato sand and gravel screening and washing plant, installed in Croatia, has been realized to handle 150 tph of alluvial aggregates with dimensions 0 – 150 mm, passing through the grid fitted at the top of the hopper.
A conveyor belt feeds a dry vibrating screen in order to split the fraction > 32 mm (stocked on pile) from the fines 0 – 32 mm (sent to the final selection).
The rinsing vibrating screen selects the 3 typical products needed in concrete batching plants:
- 4 – 8 mm
- 8 – 16 mm
- 16 – 32 mm
The slurry (made of water and solids < 4 mm), passing through the bottom deck of the above mentioned screen, is sent into a bucket wheel in order to recover the clean sand 0 – 4 mm and to eliminate the silt and the floating particles (pieces of wood) by the overflow.
