Standard bucket wheels for sand
Pozzato bucket wheels are designed to be used in the sand and gravel washing plants where no cyclone-type slime separation is required.
Each bucket wheel is composed of a properly dimensioned slurry sedimentation tank, inside of which a bucket wheel with a spiral turns.
The buckets for the draining are normally made of perforated steel sheet, or, upon special request, of stainless steel or PU for better dewatering and fine particles extraction.
The transmission is made by a gear box in oil bath, featuring very low power and maintenance costs.
Special models of Pozzato bucket wheels
In addition to the standard model RT, we are able to offer alternative solutions to it in order to meet any Customer needs.
- The RTR model is equipped just with the bucket wheel (without the recovery spiral) in order to produce a coarse sand;
- The RTL model is equipped with a second bucket wheel fitted into a separated sedimentation tank, where clean water has to be injected in order to wash again the recovered sand from the main wheel.
