Description
Pozzato has designed and manufactured an aggregates processing plant installed in Banja Luka, Bosnia-Herzegovina, enable to treat 200 tph of alluvial sand and gravel with dimensions 0 – 300 mm, passing through the static gird fitted onto the feeding hopper.
Thanks to a primary crushing unit equipped with a jaw crusher, the above mentioned material is reduced to a fraction 0 – 80 mm which is sent to a vibrating rinsing screen in order to obtain the three typical products needed in the batching plants:
- 4 – 8 mm
- 8 – 16 mm
- 16 – 32 mm
The slurry (made of water and solids < 4 mm), passing through the bottom deck of the above mentioned screen, is sent into a sand washing plant equipped with hydro-cyclone and dewatering screen, in order to produce sand 0 – 4 mm perfectly cleaned.
The fraction 32 – 80 mm is sent to secondary crushing unit equipped with an impactor, and then to the final dry screening in order to obtain the typical products needed in asphalt plants:
- 0 – 2 mm
- 2 – 4 mm
- 4 – 8 mm
- 8 – 16 mm
- 16 – 22 mm
- 22 – 32 mm
The over-size (material > 32 mm) is finally sent to a tertiary impact crusher, in order to increase the quantity of sand produced in dry way.
